Is Lovable good for SEO?
Published Lovable sites return readable HTML to search engines. Projects created since May 2026 use TanStack Start with server-side rendering, so every request gets fully rendered HTML. Older React and Vite projects are single-page apps that Lovable pre-renders when a verified crawler such as Googlebot or Bingbot visits.
So rendering is rarely the whole story any more. If an older project still struggles, check what crawlers receive with Google's URL Inspection tool, which the free Search Console MCP can run for you from Lovable's chat.
Content that loads after the page
On both stacks, data fetched in the browser after the page loads, for example from a database, may be missing from the HTML crawlers read. Content that matters for search should be in the page itself, not loaded later.
Ask Lovable to render important text on the server or include it in the page, then re-inspect the URL. To read the same pages the way AI assistants do, follow the generative engine optimization checklist.
The Lovable SEO fix, in order
Fix problems in the order search engines meet them: can they reach the page, can they read it, do they know it exists, and is it worth ranking. Connect CrakSEO to Lovable to run each check from the project chat.
- Published on a custom domain, not a workspace URL.
- robots.txt allows crawlers and a sitemap lists every page.
- Each page has its own title, meta description and H1 built around a real search.
- Important content is in the HTML crawlers receive.
- New pages are submitted for indexing and confirmed in Search Console.
- The site earns links from relevant sites over time.
After the fixes: track what happens
Once pages are indexed, the work is measuring and improving: which queries you appear for, which pages lose clicks, who outranks you and whether ChatGPT or Perplexity mention you.
CrakSEO's SEO data MCP answers those questions inside Lovable, and free URL indexing handles new pages. Search engines decide what ranks, so treat these as checks, not guarantees.
