In Lovable, open Connectors, select Add custom in the top right and choose MCP server. Add one or both, then click Add & authorize and sign in.

How it works in Lovable

It's a chat connector. Lovable uses it in the project chat and in Chats. It's personal to you and never part of the app you publish. Verified
You sign in once. Lovable uses OAuth by default and opens the CrakSEO sign-in page. You can use an API key instead. Verified
Read-only tools just run. Lovable asks before any tool that isn't marked read-only, such as sitemap submission, and you can choose Always allow. Verified
Lovable applies the fixes. Ask for keywords, an audit or a ranking check, and Lovable can rewrite titles, descriptions, headings and copy in your project. Normal Lovable usage applies.

Does Lovable support MCP servers?

Yes. Lovable connects any remote MCP server as a chat connector on every plan: open Connectors, select Add custom, choose MCP server, enter the URL and sign in with OAuth. CrakSEO's servers are remote MCP servers, so they work there.

Will this change my published app?

No. Lovable chat connectors are personal to you and are never part of the app you publish. Lovable uses CrakSEO while you build, and only the changes you accept end up on your site.

Lovable already reviews SEO. Why add this?

Lovable's review checks your pages. CrakSEO adds live data from outside your project: where your domain ranks on Google, which competitors beat you, who links to you, how ChatGPT and Perplexity mention you, and your own Search Console clicks and indexing.

Is it free?

Connecting is free, and every tool on the Search Console + Bing server is free, as is URL submission to IndexNow and Bing. SEO data calls use prepaid API credits with no subscription, and failed calls are free.

Does my Lovable site need a custom domain?

For search, yes. Search engines don't index unpublished projects or branded workspace URLs, so publish the project and connect a custom domain before you track rankings or connect Search Console.
